I love Isaac. It is one of my all-time favorites. It runs pretty smoothly on my computer and only gets chuggy occasionally. I wish I could blame my bad performance on the computer, but I can't, so I just have to admit the game is too fucking hard for me. I want to get past the first cave level so bad I can taste it, but there's always some stupid mis-step I make that kills me. Will the new BOI have a Shameful Ultimate Pussy mode for people like me?

Rebirth wont have an easy mode, but the game is always easier when you start out before you start unlocking more alt floors/ bosses/ etc.

Rebirth will feature a Hard mode from the start though that you should avoid :)
