Considering how big and complex todays AAA productions are, do you think you could (when hell would froze and you'd go work for big company) design big $60 title as well as these indie titles you do now? Design it, think through every aspect of it, direct it? And second question, was there lately any major AAA title that put you in awe because of how well it was designed and put togather?

the only difference to me between big budget AAA and indie games is simply how many people you have working on it and the budget behind it. so i probably wouldnt be good at it. but if you are taking games like the new 2d/3d marios then yeah i could do something like that with a small team.. i mean i kinda did already and we did it with no budget and 2 dudes.

you just cant charge 60$ for indie games these days… i mean minecraft is bigger than all aaa games now and i got it for 10 bucks in beta, and its 20 in stores… aaa/big budget games is all a scammy illusion. its all about how the game is presented, the following it already has and the companies rep behind it (and if its on console).

last AAA game i played that i felt did a good job with its budget and time was Fallout3.
