% splits dont change when you put things on sale. i get this question a lot because people think we are getting ripped off when stuff goes on sale.. i cant give out exact numbers (i dont think) but i can say this.
on SMBs 1st big sale, it made more money in those 24 hours than it did in its 1st month of release on steam… and it happened again with the next sale, and so on.
when you put something on sale like that tons of people buy your game, then if youre games good that giant influx of people go around advertising your game for the months to come, you will see sizable sales spikes after sales at full price.
so its a good deal for us.
