just write and draw, dont expect your early comics to be very good, they wont be because you are just now learning how to speak this way. even if youve read comics your whole life and feel like you know how things should be written/drawn/worded you simply wont have the vocabulary to speak “eloquently” with your work when you are just starting out, and that doesnt mean its bad, it just means you’re learning.
its extremely important when making art and doing anything new to make mistakes. mistakes and failures are so extremely important for a growing person because each one is a lesson on how not to do something or how to kind of do something and king of not. you learn as you go and theres no way to really lean without letting go and being ok with fucking up and not expecting to make great art when you are just starting out.
youll gain confidence as you grow, and youll gain perspective and the ability to write about more as you experience more life and get used to talking through comics, just give it time and try not to worry about being amazing, youre learning its fine to be rough around the edges.
