Got to say off the bat that I really dig your taste in music. I recall watching Indie Game: The Movie, spotting your Melvins shirt and thinking "this is a righteous dude." I then purchased Meat Boy a few weeks after that and noticed the world Sky Pup. I find it fantastic that you leave these Easter eggs pertaining to your musical tastes. I guess my question is have you ever met King Buzzo, or anyone else from the Melvins? I bet they'd dig you dropping their name in your game.

i have met buzz through this odd connect via smb.. i basically did an interview where i talked about the bands that inspired me and how badly id like to talk to them and tell them.. but know they wont know who i am or care about what i do at all :)

someone in the cast reached out to the melvins label and one of the owners knew my games and got me backstage with them a few months later. it was def a high point for me, i got to meet buzz, patton and some of the guys from isis all of them were super nice very down to earth.

that said there is almost no cross over in games and the artist who inspired me, there is no good way to explain to artist i love what i do and how their work inspired me to do it.. its just a generation gap there that isnt bridgeable. 

i dont think any bands whos songs ive referanced in smb know that i did :)
