is there any particular reason why online co-op won't be a reality? Because my friend who lives across the US from me where super excited about being able to play together

it could be possible in a future dlc if it turns out that what people want badly.. but it wasnt added to the game now because it would push our release date back quite a few months and we have to release this year due to our contract with sony
