maybe, but dlc only works for a successful game, games that dont get good sales usually dont make anything off of dlc.
i wouldnt have done the halloween expansion or wrath of the lamb for isaac if it didnt do well.
for me dlc only really works for some kinds of games as well. games like isaac can be easily expanded upon due to how its designed around “the more the better” roguelike formula… its more about if i feel like i have enough new ideas that will make the game more interesting, i wouldnt do dlc just to puff up the game with more stuff, only if i feel like said stuff would change how people play and make things more enjoyable.
i personaly dont care what people do dlc wise because i dont buy dlc for games i dont already love.. and games i love i will buy dlc for till the cows come home.. i mean i play magic.. so…
im not at all for day one dlc or dlc that is just locked content in teh game you already paid for, it feels sleazy.
