If I didn't get the wrong idea, you seem to be the kind of guy that values your own opinion about your games than public opinion. So let's say that some day, you made a game that you thought was really good, but on release, most people thought it was horrible. Would you still consider it a good game, or would you change your mind and say "I guess it was a bad game after all"?

if i considered it to be a good game i would still consider it to be a good game if people dont like it… im 100% sure ill be releasing games i think are very very good that wont sell well or most of my fans wont like.. but there isnt much of a point to being an artist if you dont challange people as well as yourself… and when you do that you are bound to fail in other peoples eyes.
