Tink and Butch share certain similarities in their looks- both have a "Hitler-sweep" hairdo, and a long pencil mustache. Seeing as they were paired up in two comics posted to the Mew-Genics website, I assume they have some sort of relationship- but what? Are they brothers? Alter-egos to each other? A split personality? You being lazy with the character design? I'm dying to know, Ed!

thats something youll need to discover yourself! every character has quite a few story elements going on behind the scenes that are all referanced via items, quests and each of their storylines… 

Butch and Tink are some of my favorite characters in mewgenics, i hope everyone else loves/hates them as much as i do!
