It seems the internet is like some catch-22 for any aspiring devs/artists/etc; one uses it to help spread themselves and their work out to the public, yet it can be horribly destructive to the person in question. Not just commenters, but even journalists will gladly bend a story to your disadvantage if it results in more controversy. What advice could you give to people who still 'need' to interact with the internet to make themselves known? Or do they even need to?

im trying to figure it out myself.. so far this is the safest way of doing it. i kinda stay off twitter and away from most video game blogs.. keep myhead down and work.

i stay close to my “real life” friends and try and get away as much as possible. its a horrible place and im writing a game about it! one day youll get to play it and maybe ill figure out what i did right/wrong here.
